Painting the Norfolk landscape is like trying to fit a billboard onto a postcard,
the sea and sky escape from the edges of the canvas.

This landscape moves me to try and create some sense and understanding of
the experience of standing on the marshes surrounded by elemental infinity.

I studied fine art at Jacob Kramer College of Art and Norwich School of Art and Design
On graduating I worked as a photographer, illustrator, teacher, workshop provider and
gallery curator until returning to painting in 2005.

Since then I have exhibited throughout Norfolk, Cambridge and London.
Work in private collections includes The Sainsbury Centre, Targetfollow and Wallace Space.
